Albatron Slimline netbook

A stylish new addition to the amazing realm of netbooks, the new ultra-thin Albatron Slimline has just been announced. Quite an impressive device that weighs no more than 1 kilo, it runs on Intel’s Atom N270 processor, packs a 1.2-inch hard drive (or 8/16 GB SSD), 1GB of RAM and a 10.2-inch LCD “glossy” display (with a 1024 x 700 resolution).

Also featuring a 4-in-1 card reader, some small speakers built-in with the fancy chassis, two USB 2.0 connectors in the back and a 1.3 megapixel webcam, the Albatron Slimline netbook also impresses with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an option for UMTS and WiMAX. As for the battery, the Albatron netbook is being powered by a 6-cells 3600mAh battery that should keep it working for some 4-5 hours.
Rumored to launch in the second half of the year with a price that will edge South of $1,800, the great design and the high quality sure makes it a great buy.
