Softbank is expected to officially launch the new Sharp 935SH Premium mobile phone, next month. It’s a stylish clamshell that sports a 3-inch ASV LCD display with 854 x 480 resolution and 16.7 million colors, takes pictures thanks to an 8 megapixel camera with a CCD matrix module (and ProPix image processing technology) and adds a 1Seg digital tuner in case you want to watch TV.

However the most interesting feature of the new Sharp 935SH is the fact that rain won’t be able to break in. That’s because its metal case meets both the PX5 and IPX7 rating for water resistance.

Available in various colors with WCDMA support, tri-band GSM roaming and capable of working on any WCDMA 3G networks, Softbank is also adding built-in Bluetooth, Infrared, GPS and microSD / microSDHC card slots in case you run out of memory.
