Panasonic has unveiled the world’s first range of Class 10 SDHC memory cards, known as the GOLD line series, which, thanks to attaining the new Class 10 speed specification as standardized by the SD Card Association, promises blisteringly fast performance designed specifically for consecutive shooting with high-res DSLRs and HD video capture.
The new Panasonic GOLD line series of Class 10 SDHC memory cards are billed as offering sequential writing of 3 frame/sec.(1 frame=3MB) and are set to become available in four capacities – specifically the RP-SDW04G(4GB), RP-SDW08G(8GB), RP-SDW16G(16GB) and the RP-SDW32G(32GB).
Panasonic are yet to announce pricing details as at the time of writing, however, they have confirmed that their GOLD line series of SDHC cards will become available in the UK from June (no word concerning further/additional international rollouts I’m afriad).
