iRiver B20 Successor Now Official

Following on from leaked images of the B20 having surfaced on the net, the iRiver B20 PMP, which serves to supersede the B20 and which comes with integrated mobile TV functionality, has now been officially announced via iRiver’s Korean website.

The iRiver B30 portable media player, which measures in at 109.5 x 56.9 x 11.15mm, comes with 2.8″ QVGA (240 x 320) LCD display, supports all the usual suspects in terms of video and audio file formats (as well as taking in FLAC and OGG audio file formats) as well as supporting Flash Lite 2.1 and, most notably, comes with integrated T-DMB Digital TV tuner.

The iRiver B30 PMP , which offers up to 40 hours of music playback, 6 hours of video or up to 5.5 hours of DMB TV based on a full charge, will come in 2GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities with additional storage space on offer thanks to a built-in microSD card and is set is priced at the equivalent of $155, $183 for the 4GB and 8GB capacity versions respectively with the 16GB model currently going un-priced (its yet to be listed on iRiver’s online store) at as at the time of writing.
