Sharp AQUOS DX TV LCD HDTV with Blue-ray

Sharp have introduced what they bill as being the world’s first 20″ LCD HDTV with integrated blu-ray player – namely the Sharp AQUOS DX TV LCD HDTV – which, apart from sporting in-built BD player (also supports DVD format) also packs in a digital TV tuner.
Offering 1,366 x 768 resolution (also, not full 1080p HD), the Sharp AQUOS DX TV LCD HDTV boasts 1,500:1 contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 brightness and is set to begin shipping in Japan from the end of June in black (LC-20DX1-B) and silver/white (LC-20DX1-W.
The 20″ Sharp AQUOS DX TV LCD HDTV with integrated Blue-ray/DVD player will retail at around the equivalent of $1,1590.
