The new optional HDTV TV tuner, according to Dell, is designed to receive local broadcast standards, including mobile digital television standards like ATSC in the U.S., DVB-T in Western Europe, ISDB-T 1-seg (1Seg) in Japan, as well as the emerging CMMB standard in China and with the Dell customized version of Ubuntu Linux (8.04), Windows XP and Windows Vista Basic.
Allowing Dell Inspiron Mini owners to tune into free digital and HD TV broadcasts, the optional Inspiron Mini HDTV TV Tuner will set you back from around $50.
