Iomega eGo Portable Hard Drives Updated [eGo Hard Disks Get Rugged, Sport Revised Design]

Iomega has announced that it has updated its eGo range of portable hard disk drives, with new Iomega eGo external hard disks offering not only a revised design but also enhanced ruggedness as well as coming bundled with ‘the broadest suite of bundled data protection software in the industry’.

The new Iomega eGo portable hard drives, which come in 250GB, 320GB and 500GB capacities (the latter of which is capable of storing up to 2,000,000 photos, over 9,250 hours of music or 750 hours of video) also come bundled with McAfee VirusScan Plus complete with six months supscription as well as QuikProtect backup scheduling software, EMC Retrospect Express or Express HD and are rolling out right about now.
