Designed for use with home theater systems (and specifically HD theater systems) the GefenTV Wireless HDMI Extender offers the capability to send HD Full HD (1080p HD) signals wirelessly between the sender and receiver units at distances of up to a somewhat impressive 100 feet.

Utilising Amimon’s 5GHz wireless technology the GefenTV Wireless HDMI Extender, which is HDCP compliant (in Unicast mode), offers full multi-channel audio support (5.1 channel) allowing you to hook the sender unit up to HD equipment such as a Blu-ray player which can be sent wirelessly to the receiving unit (placed someplace else in your home) which connects directly to your HDTV thus negating the need for untidy cabling.
