If you’re looking to protect your trusty iPhone and you wouldn’t say no to a little increased endurance in terms of battery life, this new protective iPhone case from Case-Mate, known as the Case-Mate iPhone 3G Fuel Rechargeable Battery Pack could be the answer.

Coming with an integrated Lithium Polymer battery, the Case-Mate iPhone 3G Fuel Rechargeable Battery Pack will purportedly add up to nine hours of additional talk-time endurance on and over the talk-time offered by the iPhone sans battery backup or, up to seven hours of internet browsing, up to and additional eight hours of video, 24 hours of audio or a not inconsiderable 250 hours of extra standby time.

Coming with built-in LEDs allowing you to gauge, at a glance, how much juice you have left, the Case-Mate iPhone 3G Fuel Rechargeable Battery Pack will set you back just shy of $80.
