
Asus have just released their new K Series notebook, specifically the Asus K40IN-A1, which, according to Asus, is the ’smart choice of notebooks designed to provide users with no-frills day-to-day computing and steadfast reliability’ in the US.
The new K Series Asus K40IN-A1 notebook, which is powered by a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor, comes with a 14″ 16:9 aspect ratio 1366 x 768 resolution LED backlit display, GeForce G102M 512MB video card, 4GB RAM, 320GB SATA 5400rpm hard disk and DVD SuperMulti optical drive, a SD/MMC/MS media card reader, integrated Wi-Fi wireless connectivity and, in terms of endurance, boasts ‘up to 5 hours of non-stop computing on a 6-cell battery’.
Running Windows Vista Home, the Asus K40IN-A1 notebook will set you back around $834 as at the time of writing.
