Offers Battery Powered Portability

Gear4 have taken the wraps off their latest iPod dock, the Gear4 CRG-60 iPod Alarm Clock Radio which, whilst being a fairly rudimentary device offering basic dual, independent alarm clock functionality can be powered either by mains electricity or courtesy of batteries – making it the ideal, highly portable iPod alarm clock for travellers.

Sporting a two stage dimmable LCD display and serving to charge your iPod when docked (when using mains power), the Gear4 CRG-60 iPod Alarm Clock Radio can wake you with either the radio (FM broadcasts only), with music from your iPod or buzzer and whilst the feature list is far from extensive its fair to say that this is reasonably reflected in terms of the CRG-60′s pricing which comes in at just shy of 35GBP.

The Gear4 CRG-60 iPod Alarm Clock Radio is set to begin shipping in the UK in June.
