Sony Walkman NWZ-S636FK PMP Gains Korean Release

Sony Korea have launched their latest PMP in their Walkman series in the form of the Sony Walkman NWZ-S636FK which comes with 4GB of onboard storage capacity and boasts a battery endurance of up to 40 hours (audio) and up to 10 hours (video).

The Sony Walkman NWZ-S636FK, which comes in black or a particularly shocking hue of pink and which appears to be offered complete with a decidedly bedroom table friendly speaker docking station offering 2W of output and up to 16 hours of playback based on a single full charge, offers MP3, WMA, AAC-LC, Linear PCM audio support as well as AVC (H.262) and MPEG-4 video file format compatibility (it will also happily display JPEG image files) comes with a 2″ QVGA (240 x 320) resolution display, integrated FM tuner and DSEE high-fidelity stereo and bass enhancing technologies.
In terms of pricing, the Sony Walkman NWZ-S636FK comes in at the equivalent of $257, however, at this stage there’s no word from Sony as to whether the NWZ-S636FK will see a wider, international release.
