LaCie 5big Network Storage Array Hits 10TB

If you’re looking for some serious network storage capacity, and the previously available iterations of the LaCie 5big RAID NAS (which previously topped out at 7.5TB) just didn’t have quite the capacity you were after, you’ll be pleased to know that, thanks to LaCie updating their 5big network storage array, there’s now a new 10TB capacity 5big on offer.

Consisting of five hot-swappable hard disks mounted in a RAID network array, the new 10TB LaCie 5big NAS, just as the previously available 7.5TB, 5TB and 2.5TB models, offers Apple Time Machine compatibility as well as Gigabit Ethernet network connectivity (10/100/1000) and comes bundled with Genie and Intego Backup Manager Pro software and, in terms of additional features of note, also packs in Active Directory Support (ADS) and Wake-on-LAN functionality.

The 10TB LaCie 5big RAID NAS is available as of now and will set you back just shy of a cool $2,100.
