Dell ST2020 HD Widescreen LCD Monitor

Without any of the usual pomp and ceremony that tends to coincide with the release of a new Dell product, Dell have quietly released their new, 20″ budget priced 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen HD monitor, namely the Dell ST2020, which until now had only been available to the Hong Kong market.
The Dell ST2020 20″ HD Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor supports 1600 x 900 resolution with 1000:1 contrast ratio with 5ms response time and, in a bid to keep pricing down, wholly dispenses with DVI connectivity in preference for just HDMI along with VGA.

- Panel Size: 20″ 16:9 Aspect Ratio
- Panel Type: TN – Twisted Nematic
- Max Resolution: 1600×900 at 60Hz
- Contrast Ratio: 1000:1 (typical)

As at the time of writing Dell have so far only extended the availability of their ST2020 HD Widescreen LCD Monitor to China where it’s shipping for the equivalent of $142 and are still remaining tight lipped as to whether the ST2020 monitor will gain a US/European release (and if so, when) but we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground so we can update you accordingly should Dell make any specific announcements.
