Verizon Wireless HP Mini 1151NR Netbook Release Date Confirmed

By way of a brief heads up, existing Verizon customers and, we suspect, a few prospective ones may be interested to know that the release of Verizon Wireless’s first netbook, in the guise of the HP Mini 1151NR, is set to become available from the beginning of next week.

Its availability, which is scheduled for 17^th May, coincides with the launch of Verizon’s MiFi personal hotspot and, whilst pricing of Verizon Wireless’s HP Mini 1151NR netbook is as yet unconfirmed BGR reports that it’ll come in at around the $200 price point with a 2 year contract (pricing given is subsequent to a mail in rebate) which, allowing for monthly charges of between $40 and $60 will see you forking out anything from $960 to $1,40 over the course of the 24 month contract.
