iRiver Dicple D7 PMP Launched [Touchscreen Pocket Dictionary PMP]

Following on from iRiver getting official concerning their T5 DAP, iRiver has just launched its palm-sized Dicple D7 portable media player which doubles up as a pocket friendly electronic dictionary (offering up a total of 24 separate dictionaries) as well as offering full PMP capabilities complete with SRS WOW HD sound processing.

The iRiver Dicple D7 PMP, which measures in at 95 x 68.5 x 46.8mm and which weighs in at just 142g, apart from boasting 24 dictionaries as well as offerings from the Encyclopaedia Britannica, takes in MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, AVI, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG and PDF file format support as well as supporting Flash compatibility, handwriting recognition (via the device’s 3″ 262K color touchscreen display) and coming with integrated FM radio tuner.

The iRiver Dicple D7, which comes with integrated microSD card slot, comes in 2GB and 4GB capacity models as well as a 4GB model supporting DMB and is set to retail in Korea for the equivalent of $210 and $240 for the 2GB and 4GB models respectively (we don’t have any info concerning the price of the 4GB unit with inbuilt DMB at the time of writing).
