Samsung HMX-R10 Full HD Camcorder Available Now to Pre-Order

Following on from our posting concerning Samsung’s SMX-C10 and SMX-C14 standard definition camcorders, we felt obliged to also note that Samsung’s new HMX-R10 Full HD Camcorder, which offers 1080p video recording capabilities is now available to pre-order.

Coming with the same 2.7″ swivel display as the aforementioned SMX-C10 and SMX-C14 SD camcorders, the Samsung HMX-R10 offers Full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution) video capture as well as 9 megapixel stills capture capabilities, 5x optical zoom (vs the 10x optical zoom offered on the SD models referred to above) and integrated SD/MMC memory card slot.

The Samsung HMX-R10 Full HD Camcorder is presently available to pre-order from Amazon for just shy of $500.
