Asus Express TV Stick Hybrid

Asus have introduced their up and coming Asus Express TV Stick known as the Asus Express TV Stick Hybrid which not only comes with integrated DVB-T (digital) and analog TV tuners but which also offers 4GB of additional storage capacity – allowing the new Asus Express TV Stick to serve as a conventional USB flash drive.
Compatible with windows based systems – specifically XP and Vista – the new Asus Express TV Stick is supplied with software pre-loaded on the USB stick itself, negating the need for a driver CD, which offers up capabilities such as a Windows Vista Gadgets that allows the recording of live TV via the Vista sidebar as well as the ability to capture snapshots of TV broadcasts (should you wish to). Of course, thanks to the Asus Express TV Stick boasting 4GB of storage capacity, you can record said programming directly to the device itself – meaning that you can simply subsequently pocket the device and play the recorded programming on another PC simply by inserting the stick in the corresponding computer.
Supplied with a remote controller, an audio/video breakout cable, a DVB-T Antenna, a quick start guide and a support CD, there’s no word from Asus as at the time of writing concerning the new Express TV Stick’s scheduled date of release or unit pricing.
