LG Versa Game Pad Module Now Available

Back in February, when we initially covered Verizon offering the LG Versa touchscreen cell phone to its customers, we detailed the LG Versa’s ability to accept attachments – such as the then featured QWERTY keyboard – and made reference to the possibility of a detachable, snap-on game pad possibly being on the cards for future release and now, as predicted, said game pad module has just been made available.
Provided in a slider format that slides back and forth behind the Versa’s main body for ease of storage and to assist ease of transit – thus, unlike the QWERTY keyboard, there’s no brown wallet to facilitate storage (which will hardly be missed) – the LG Versa Game Pad snap-on module sports an 8-way directional pad and the obligatory four ABXY gaming buttons as well as Start and Select buttons and can be had for just shy of $30.
Would any discerning Versa gamer want to be without it? We suspect not.
