Niveus ZONE HTPC [Niveus Intros Powerful & Affordable HTPC for the Masses]

Niveus have released their new Niveus ZONE HTPC (Home Theater PC) which comes at an attractive price point and yet hardly skimps on features or capabilities in packing a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 processor with 2GB RAM, 160GB SATAII hard disk, 7.1 channel surround sound (Dolby Digital TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio) and integrated DVD/Blu-ray drive.

The Niveus ZONE HTPC, which measures in at a particularly compact 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.97″ and which runs the Windows Vista Home OS, comes with Intel GMA X4500 HD graphics, gigabit Ethernet and, in terms of connectivity, both HDMI 1.3 and eSATA are on offer.

Bundled with Niveus’s own software, such as Niveus Movie Library, Niveus Studio, Niveus Media Server Companion and Niveus Weather, the Niveus ZONE HTPC has just become available directly from Niveus for around $1,500.
