Samsung Mondi Mobile Internet Device Officially Unveiled

Following on from an ealier leak (see: Samsung SWD-M100 Mondi Mobile WiMAX Device) Samsung have now officially unveiled their WiMax friendly Mondi Mobile Internet Device today which comes with the aforementioned WiMax as well as Wi-Fi capabilities and which is set to be released later in the year.

Details are a little on the sparse side – in fact we now have little more than was already leaked – however, Samsung have confirmed that the Mondi MID, which runs the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS and packs 4GB of built-in memory, sports a 4.3″ display and comes with a full slider QWERTY keyboard, integrated 3 megapixel camera with Stills and video capture capabilities, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and HDMI out. Additionally Samsung have also confirmed that the Mondi Mobile Internet Device comes pre-loaded with the Opera 9.5 browser as well as having access to push email, SMS, MMS and IM.

There’s no official word concerning specific availability at this time.
