Handheld Classic Gaming Console

Following on from our post concerning the Game-800 PMP, which offers NES/Famicom, Game Boy and Game Boy Color emulation, here’s another highly affordable portable media player which is sure to appeal to classic gamers in offering compatibility with NES, SNES Sega Genesis, Game boy Advanced and even Neo-Geo and CPS1/2 Capcom ROMs.
The device, known as the Multi Platform Portable Gaming Entertainment Station, or just as the CVFH-N03-4G if you prefer, comes with a 2.8″ QVGA display, 4GB of built-in memory (which can be supplemented with miniSD memory cards), integrated FM radio tuner, and apart from playing ball with FLV, WMV, ASF, RM, AVI, MPEG, MP4, RMVB, SW, MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG file formats even comes with AV Out, allowing you to hook it up to our TV.

Agreed, just like the aforementioned Game-800, it may not look especially enticing, however, if you’re looking for a device that offer broad emulation support of classic gaming titles – perhaps to help ease the commute into and back from work – the Multi Platform Portable Gaming Entertainment Station could be well worth further investigation, especially considering it’ll set you back around a mere $86.
