The European division of Acer have officially launched their new Acer Aspire One D250 netbook which comes with ’slimline’ styling and a choice of either 1.60GHz Intel Atom N270 or 1.66GHz Atom N280 processors and 10.1″ 1024 x 600 (WSVGA) Acer Crystal Brite TFT LCD display.
The Acer Aspire One D250 netbook, which measures in at 258.5 x 184 x 25.4mm and is set to be offered in black, white, red and blue, comes with up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB hard disk a 0.3MP Acer Crystal Eye webcam, multitouch capable trackpad (we own an Acer notebook with said trackpad and, in honesty, it can prove immensely frustrating) and integrated Wi-Fi wireless connectivity with Bluetooth 2.0+EDR coming as an optional extra.
Set to be offered with three battery options allowing up to three and a quarter hours, six hours and seven and a half hours of endurance respectively, the Acer Aspire One D250 netbook, which runs Windows XP Home, appears to have just hit the European market (if Amazon’s listings are to be believed) where it’s retailing from around a not unreasonable 380 EUR.
