Comfile Technology CUPC-P80 Touchscreen UMPC [Vehicle Friendly UMPC]

Comfile Technology have released their CUPC-P80 Touchscreen UMPC which comes with 12vDC, making it vehicle friendly, and which sports a 10.2″ capacitive touchscreen display and comes with a 500MHz AMD Geode LX800 processor and 512MB RAM under the hood.

The Comfile Technology CUPC-P80, which measures in at 284 x 164 x 53.3mm, runs either Windows XP or Windows 2000, comes with 4GB of flash based storage capacity – though SATA and E-SATA pots are on offer should you wish to hook the CUPC-P80 up to an external storage device – as well as an SD card slot allowing for additional ‘bolt-on’ capacity and, in terms of additional connectivity, offers 3x USB ports, 3x RS232 and 1x RS485 (or an optional extra RS232 port).

The Comfile Technology vehicle friendly CUPC-P80 Touchscreen UMPC has just become available for just shy of $700 though, it has to be said, the official product site is far from inspiring.
