LED ECG Styled Digital Watch [Electrocardiograph Themed Time Telling]

ecg led watch

If you’re looking for a digital watch (and especially an LED watch) that’s as quirky as it is distinctive and which is bound to get you noticed – and Tokyoflash watches just aren’t doing it for you right now – this LED ECG styled digital watch may just fit the bill.

Displaying the time in a manner inspired by electrocardiogram displays, this ECG LED watch will display the time as if it were your heartbeat – thankfully, however, it won’t actually be a true reflection of your actual heartbeat as, frankly, if it were the watch would be of little use to you (what with being dead and all or, at best, in the throws of a major coronary).

I initially assumed that the watch may transpire to actually work as a mini electrocardiogram (perhaps using a sensor in the strap to pick up your pulse) but this, alas, seems not to be the case – at least from what we can gather from the linked page post translation. Shame. Still, whilst we tend to have grown rather tired of LED watches in general we think this is pretty cool.

The ECG LED Watch comes in two colors – black with red LED display or silver with green LED display – and will seemingly even charge from a USB port courtesy of a provided cable.

The ECG LED Watch will set you back the equivalent of $257. Very cool – and would have made our Our Top Ten Coolest Watches were it not a little late on the scene.
