iRiver D50N Wi-Fi Mobile Internet PMP Gets Official

Following on from featuring the iRiver P35 and the iRiver P7 along comes another highly desirable device from iRiver, a company that we retain the utmost respect for, in the form of this PMP cum Wi-FI mobile internet device (MID) – the iRiver D50N.

Sporting the seemingly obligatory eDictionary functionality, the iRiver D50N, which measures in at a tidy 150 x 88 x 24.8mm, comes with a 4.8″ 800 x 480 (WVGA) resolution TFT LCD touchscreen, 16GB of integrated memory, integrated wireless (IEEE 802.11b/g) connectivity and, from the PMP perspective, supports MP3, WMA, AC3, OGG, FLAC, APE, WAV audio and MPEG 1/2/3, Xvid, WMV 7/8/9 video file formats.
Purported to offer a battery endurance of up to 16 hours for audio or 9 hours for video (thus, assumedly, around 12.5 hours should you split video and audio exactly 50/50) the iRiver D50N Wi-Fi Mobile Internet PMP comes in at the equivalent of $370.
