We were wondering when we’d chisel in the seemingly obligatory weekly projector posting and, whilst its very much the eleventh hour, along comes Hitachi’s press release concerning their CP-X2010 3LCD Projector (phew).
Aimed specifically at the education market, the Hitachi CP-X2010 comes with a ‘new’ 4,000-hour hybrid filter that’s billed as making the CP-X2010 particularly cost effective whilst, in terms of additional noteworthy features, the XGA CP-X2010 3LCD projector also offer a 3,000 hour lamp life – extending to 5,000 hours if the projectors used in Eco Mode – as well as 2,200 lumens brightness, a 16W integrated speaker and an especially low noise rating of 29 dBA whilst in Whisper Mode.
“The Hitachi CP-X2010 3LCD projector addresses the need for high performance and reliability in education environments,” said John Glad, Product Manager, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group. “Moreover, Hitachi’s innovative engineering enables the CP-X2010 to meet these needs at an affordable price point.”
Unfortunately, Glad, having referred to the CP-X2010’s ‘affordable price point ‘ opted not to actually divulge just exactly the projector will set you back or, for that matter, when it’ll commence shipping.
