Billed as offering ‘solid design, maximum functionality, and programmable customization unique to each user’ both the OCZ Eclipse (above) and the OCZ Behemoth (below) are specifically being aimed at hardcore gamers and feature weight cartridges (allowing to to weight each mouse according to taste) as well as on-board memory, providing ‘instantaneous “plug and play” settings, without the need for additional software to unlock the advanced functions’.

The OCZ Eclipse and the OCZ Behemoth laser gaming mice offer DPI resolutions from 100-2400 and 800-3200 respectively with 60IPS tracking speeds, 2 way scroll wheels, 5 buttons 9with 2 DPI setting buttons) and an LED display serving to indicate the current DPI status and whilst OCZ are yet to announce either pricing or availability concerning either mouse we expect them to come in as being reasonably cheap or, as OCZ would prefer us to term it, reasonably ‘inexpensive’.

“OCZ continues to break barriers in the cost for performance arena by offering high performance gaming products that deliver exceptional features, ergonomics, and performance at an aggressive price,” commented Ryan Edwards, Director of Product Management for OCZ. “The new Behemoth and Eclipse gaming mice are no exception, offering world-class performance designed to provide the discerning gamer and enthusiast with a superior hands-on control experience whether playing first person shooters or getting creative with design applications.”
