Samsung N310 Netbook Announced

Samsung have unveiled their latest netbook, the Atom powered Samsung N310, which sports what Samsung refer to as a ‘pebble smooth’ design complete with extremely prominent logo and which, according to Samsung’s press release, boasts a battery endurance of up to five hours extendable to up to 11 hours with an (optional?) extended endurance battery pack.

Interestingly, as at the time of writing, whilst Samsung have confirmed that their N310 netbook will come with an Intel Atom under the hood they have not named any specific Atom processor, however, they have confirmed that the N310, which weighs in at a mere 1.23kg, sports a 10.1″ LCD display, 160GB HDD, 1.3 megapixel camera, integrated card reader, built-in Wi-Fi (b/g) connectivity (with HSDPA and WiBro being offered as optional extras), 1GB RAM and 3x USB posts.

At this juncture Samsung have not offered any insight as to the N310 netbook’s pricing or availability though they have stated that the N310 will be offered in black, red and blue though, it has to be said, as much as we like Samsung, the overbearing logo on the N310′s outer lid strikes us as being a little overdone (to the point of being somewhat brash).
