iRiver P35 PMP Boasts Wi-Fi, T-DMB TV Tuner & SPINN Inspired Nav Wheel

Having just posted very much earlier today concerning the iRiver P7 PMP becoming available to pre-order in the US along comes another iRiver PMP in the form of the 802.11b/g Wi-Fi packing iRiver P35 which comes with a 4.3″ 480 x 272 resolution LCD TFT display and sports the same navigation wheel as featured on the iRiver SPINN.

Coming in a number of iterations taking in Wi-Fi wireless connectivity and/or T-DMB TV tuner and either 8GB or 16GB of onboard storage capacity, the iRiver P35 PMP, which measures in at 128.3 x 79.7 x 17.8mm, additionally comes with an accelerometer to allow the device to switch automatically between landscape and portrait modes depending on the orientation of the device, a built-in web browser, UCI widget support and, interestingly even appears to offer an FTP server functionality (though to what extend eludes us due to the product pages being in Korean and wholly resisting translation tools).

In terms of file format support, the iRiver P35 PMP covers just about everything you’d want/need including a few that are more uncommonly supported by PMPs but will doubtless be much welcomed – specifically, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC, APE, JPG, RAW, BMP, GIF, PNG, DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, HWP, HTML and HTM – whilst, codec-wise you can also factor in MPEG1/2/4, Xvid, WMV7/8/9 andH.264.
The iRiver P35 PMP has just hit Korea, however, there’s no official word as at the time of writing concerning the P35′s international release schedule or country-specific pricing.
