Those of you based in the UK who are looking to avail themselves of Sony’s up and coming, and much hyped OLED touchscreen X-Series Walkman – a device widely seen as Sony’s take on Apple’s iPod Touch and which will thus compete directly against said device – may be interested to know that you’ll not have to wait much longer – or at least if Amazon UK are to be believed (and few would rate Amazon as anything other than a credible source).
For those looking for a little for information concerning the Sony X-Series Walkman you many be interested in the above linked post which offers a fairly comprehensive run down concerning the device and what it has to offer, however, if you’re just looking for me to cut to the chase, here goes.
The date for your diary is the 10th March (Amazon’s Sony X-Series Walkman page is already up, but they are not accepting pre-orders at this juncture). In terms of UK specific pricing, the 32GB Sony X-Series Walkman will set you back 283GBP whilst the 16GB model is expected to retail for around the 214GBP price point (though Amazon have not listed the 16GB variant as of the time of writing).
