Shuttle X50 All-in-One Touchscreen Nettop Officially Announced

Shuttle have officially announced their up and coming Shuttle X50 all-in-one touchscreen nettop which is set to go head -to-head with the likes of Asus’s Eee Top AIO PC and which billed by Shuttle as striking ‘the perfect balance between quality craftsmanship, performance, and price’.

Coming in at just 1.4″ in thickness, the Shuttle X50 Nettop AIO PC boasts a 15.6″ 1366 x 768 resolution 16:9 aspect ratio touchscreen and, somewhat predictably, is powered by Intel’s Atom CPU – specifically the Atom 330 dual-core processor – and comes with Intel GMA950 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 160GB 5400rpm hard disk, built-in stereo speakers rated at 2W, 4-in-1 memory card reader, 1.3 megapixel camera, no less than five USB ports and integrated Wi-Fi connectivity (b/g/n).
There’s no word from shuttle at this juncture concerning either the Shuttle X50 Nettop AIO PC’s availability or pricing but, in terms of the latter, the Shuttle X50 is expected to retail at around the $500 price point (though this remains unconfirmed at this stage).
