Super Talent have launched their fifth generation range of SSDs in the form of the UltraDrive LE and UltraDrive ME solid state drives which offer enhanced data transfer rates as well as capacities ranging from 32GB up to 256GB.

The new 2.5″ SATAII SSDs, according to Super Talent, are differentiated by the UltraDrive LE offering read speeds of up to 230MB/s and write speed up to 170MB/s whilst the UltraDrive ME SSDs offer 200MB/s and 160MB/s data transfer speeds respectively. Additionally, whilst the UltraDrive LE range is billed as having been designed expressly for enterprise servers, its UltraDrive ME series are being targeted for use primarily with high-end notebook computers.

Super Talent’s UltraDrive LE SSDs are being offering in capacities ranging from 32GB to 128GB whilst the UltraDrive ME SSDs push available capacity up to 256MB (which will set you back around $645).
