TEAC America Inc. have announced their first foray into the world of HD radio technology with the introduction of their TEAC HD-1 HD Radio iPod/iPhone Docking Station.

“With digital radio reaching critical mass across America, TEAC is excited to unveil the HD-1, our introductory HD Radio product. Capable of offering access to what currently stands at around 2,000 HD radio stations and over 1,000 new FM HD2/HD3 channels, as well as supporting AM and FM radio broadcasts, the TEAC HD-1 HD Radio iPod/iPhone Docking Station sports Crystal-Clear Sound technology and, as well as offering radio alarm clock functionality, comes with front mounted LCD display for conveying radio band/station name as well as song/title/artist info and comes with headphone and video out connectivity.
