Klipsch 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle 4GB Headphones

Following on from announcing the Image S2 and Image S4 headphones, Klipsch have been quick to announce that its already got no less than three sets of in-ear headphones on the drawing board that are being developed specifically for Apple’s 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle 4GB.
Needless to say, the new Klipsch 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle 4GB headphones will come complete with in-line controls designed to compliment the new Shuffle’s VoiceOver feature – such as play, pause, adjust volume, skip tracks, navigate playlists – and will be IDR (Increased Dynamic Range) noise isolating in-ear affairs.
Klipsch’s press release states that their new, 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle 4GB friendly headphones should become available sometime in the Spring and are expected to retail for between $50 and $100.
We congratulate Klipsch for being so pro-active but, alas, there’s still nothing that will convince us to part with money for Apple’s new Shuffle – and the fact that specialist headphones (as opposed to any spare headphones you happen to have laying around) have to be used with what is, in essence, a ‘budget’ DAP really just strikes us somewhat of a paradox.
