Asus U-Series & UX-Series Ultra Slim Notebooks [Illuminated Keyboards, Contemporary Style]

Following on from offering some insight into their up and coming Asus Eee Keyboard PC, Asus have detailed (somewhat poetically, it must be said) two new series of notebooks sporting ultra slim designs and contemporary styling in the form of its new U- and UX Series of notebooks which, as you can see from Asus’s official press release provided below, are aimed specifically at ‘the modern individual who accepts no compromise when it comes to exquisite taste in high fashion and possesses an eye for the latest trends as well as the intricacies in design’ (and that’s you, isn’t it?).

The new ultra slim Asus notebooks both sport illuminated ‘chiclet’ keyboards as which will, apparently, remind the user ‘of the star studded skies above’ whilst their overall minimalist aesthetics are ‘reminiscent of the streets of Paris with the evening fast approaching’ (really, this press release is quite something else). Additionally both the U- and UX-Series come with LED backlit displays complete with AI Light Sensor technology – which will dynamically adjust the display brightness to ensure optimum settings according to environmental lighting conditions.
