Billed as being ‘an ideal choice for travelers’, the Sony HDR-XR520V camcorder’s GPS receiver, apart from ensuring that the camcorder’s clock is consistently set to the correct time zone, allows for the geo-tagging of videos and stills imagery which can consequently be searched by location whilst working with an integrated map function allowing you to gain a broad overview of when and where you’ve been active (especially handy if you’re on holiday and are looking to produce a video diary of your travels in chronological order).

The Sony HDR-XR520V Full HD Camcorder with GPS Receiver, at the time of writing, is yet to become available via Sony Style but has just become available via Amazon where it’ll set you back just shy of $1,500.
