Creative have just released their new MovieWorks HD iPod Dock under their subsidiary brand Cambridge Soundworks which facilitates iPod video content being played on HDTVs via HDMI in 1080i HD resolution thanks to the MovieWorks HD’s upscaling capabilities complete with 5.1-channel DTS surround sound support for compatible receivers.

Offering ‘seamless integration between your iPod and your existing home theater or home audio system’ the Cambridge Soundworks MovieWorks HD iPod Dock comes with Creative’s Xi-Fi Xtreme Fidelity, Crystallizer and CMSS-3D audio technologies and, if used with Creative’s Wireless Receiver – of which the MovieWorks HD iPod Dock will actually support up to four – can be used to pump music around your home to other entertainment systems.

The Cambridge Soundworks MovieWorks HD iPod Dock will set you back just shy of $250.
