Allowing you to record directly to your iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G or iPod Nano 4G, making it especially ideal for voice memos or recording lectures or board meetings, the extremely compact USBfever Mini Microphone, which is apparently ‘so convenient you can wear it as a necklace’ (personally I’ve been wearing a microphone around my neck for years, I don’t know about you) draws power directly from your iPhone/iPod, thus not requiring batteries, and is billed as being a plug and lay affair – though this is not entirely the case except when when with the iPod Nano 4G, as is evident from the following snippet.

This accessory is compatible with:

• iPhone 3G (you need to download software and install to your iPhone e.g. iTalk Recorder or Easy Recorder)
