Following on from a leak by UK retailer Tesco back in January which let the cat out of the bag concerning the Inspiron Mini 10 netbook’s pricing Dell have finally launched the Inspiron Mini 10 with the new US product page now offering full specifications and details.

Slotting neatly in between the Inspiron Mini 9 and Inspiron Mini 12 (as you’d probably gathered), the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 comes with a choice of 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 or 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processors under the hood, Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 500 graphics, a 10.1″ 1024 x 576 (WSVGA) resolution 16:9 aspect ratio glossy display, 92% standard laptop size keyboard, multitouch trackpad, 1GB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM and a choice of 120GB or 160GB hard drives. A TV tuner card and 3G WWAN are also available as optional extras.

Naturally, being a netbook, you can also factor in the obligatory integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi (802.11g or a/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a 3-in-one card reader whilst, in terms of connectivity, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 offers up three USB ports (one of which is powered), 10/100 Ethernet. Additionally, an HDMI port is also in evidence.

In terms of endurance, you have the option of a 3-cell battery which will see you good for up to three hours or a 6-cell battery which offers up to a not too shabby six and a half hours.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 netbook, which comes in a range of colors, will retail from around $399 when it begins shipping (purportedly on or around 26th February).
