Vuzix have added to their iWear range with the release of their new Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen Eyewear which purportedly offers a viewing experience comparable to viewing a 52 foot 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen display from a distance of nine feet.
Powered by a single AA battery offering up to five hours of endurance, the Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen, which is compatible with all devices offering either NRSC or PAL video output (such as PMPs, video cameras, gaming consoles and iPods), comes with integrated earphones and twin 428 x 240 (WQVGA) resolution widescreen LCD displays offering independent +2 to -5 diopter focus adjustment allowing each screen to be tailored for the best viewing experience for each eye.
