GlobeSurfer X1 From Option

The GlobeSurfer X-1 from Option is a wireless router. When connected to a USB modem, the unit becomes a Wi-Fi internet hotspot. The X-1 does not require any installation software, a built-in browser GUI lets you access the features via any internet browser.
The GlobeSurfer X-1 works as a router and lets you establish a LAN so that you can have Wi-Fi access to devices and surf any 3G data network. Two ethernet ports on the rear side of the device enable connectivity for clients without Wi-Fi. It also has two file- and printer-server compatible USB ports.
When a USB 3G/HSPA modem into Globesurfer X-1 you get an internet-connected Wi-Fi network.
The X-1 offers portability and ease of use anywhere not only because it is pocket-sized with the length of 10 cm and depth of 4 cm but also because it is “unlocked”. It will work with any USB modem purchased from anywhere.
The router is 802.11n compatible and several times faster than a 802.11g router. It offers real-life transfer rates of 160 Mbps or more.
