XSight Universal Remote Control 8603 – Controls 18 Devices

The new Touch URC 8603 from XSight is a universal remote control designed to make all other remotes in your house redundant. It’s a handy device that can let you manage an impressive eighteen devices and costs a little less than $200.

The URC 8603 is an amazingly intelligent device. All you need to do is to tell it about the devices you want it to control and the URC 8603 will do the rest. It has a 2.2 inch color touch screen and programmable macros that let you access movies at the touch of a single button. Logos on the touchscreen activate the channel when you touch the logo. The URC 8603 makes use of a web-based programming tool – the EZRC. With the EZRC you can create your own profiles and segregate channels and devices to be activated under your own profile.The remote supports up to six profiles.

The remote control software can be upgraded via a USB so you can add new features such as new languages and graphics to the remote as and when available.
