ByDsign DP-1001DW Digital Picture Frame Boasts TV Tuner [TV Picture Frame]

With digital picture frames evolving as quickly as they have been of late in terms of functionality the obvious next logical step was undoubtedly that of offering a digital picture frame with integrated digital TV tuner – and ByDsign have done just that with their new 10.2″ DP-1001DW digital picture frame.

Offering 800 x 480 resolution 300:1 contrast ratio LCD display, the ByDsign DP-1001DW digital picture frame, apart from boasting integrated digital TV tuner, offers just about everything you’d expect from a digital frame including SD, MMC, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO DUO card reader, USB 2.0 port, 64MB of built-in memory and AVI/DivX video capabilities but, alas, Wi-Fi connectivity is not included – which strikes us as a little odd as this would have very much sealed the deal as far as we are concerned in allowing the DP-1001DW to serve as a digital frame, a mini TV and web browser.

The DP-1001DW Digital Picture Frame with TV Tuner has just been release in Japan for the equivalent of around $544.
