Trackle Online Web Monitoring Service Goes Beta

trackle

Although not a gadget but interesting enough to warrant a mention here on this blog, Trackle is a web tracking service that lets you do all your tracking from a single source – so no more going to Google Alerts for news stories and PriceProtectr to track prices of your favorite items being retailed online.

Trackle enables users to create free customized web alerts on almost anything that they wish to track. The category bar on the left side is an impressive one and covers pretty much everything trackable out there on the internet. You can get your trackles via RSS, SMS, or email or you can log on to the site and check the built-in alerts in-box that lets you take in at a glance the status of all that you are tracking.

The site lets you track your contacts on LinkedIn and it lets you track crime in your area. So basically the scope to develop this idea is limitless. Tracker will benefit as its user base grows and its own social network begins to take shape. Trackle is integrated with Twitter and will soon be integrated with Facebook as well.
