Having just covered iRiver’s new P20 PMP the iRiver related news continues with the announcement that Korea’s KT Telecom have just made iRiver’s Wave-Home Multimedia VOIP Touchscreen Entertainment & Communications Hub available to its subscribers.

If you’re unfamiliar with iRiver’s Wave-Home you can gain further insight into this decidedly desirable desktop gadget via the link to our initial in-depth posting as provided above but, by way of a brief recap, the iRiver Wave-Home comes with a 7″ display, 1.3 megapixel camera and is designed to serve as a central hub for both entertainment and communications thanks to its VIOP and video conferencing capabilities paired with Wi-Fi network connectivity – allowing you to browse the net, gain weather information, read RSS feeds, etc – and a host of multimedia support allowing you to view photos, play videos, etc.

KT Telecom are offering the iRiver Wave-Home for the equivalent of $210 as at the time of writing and, personally, I for one am eagerly awaiting a European release as the Wave-home is right up there on my shopping list.
