epson na01 endeavor netbook updated

Interestingly, just as Asus looks set to increase the pricing of its range of notebooks and netbooks, and specifically its Eee PC netbooks – see: Asus Price Increases Pending [Asus Eee PC Netbooks & Asus Notebooks See Hikes] – Epson have announced an ‘updated’ version of its Na01 Endeavor netbook which sees it reduced in price (though the nature of the Na01 Endeavor’s ‘update’ appears limited to the new Na01 being white in appearance as opposed to the previous version’s black finish – which is rather less an update than a mere aesthetic revision).

The all new revised Epson Na01 Endeavor netbook, like its predecessor, offers all the standard run-of-the-mill specifications you’d expect from no longer especially inspiring netbook with a 10.2″ 1024 x 600 resolution display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU under the hood, 160GB HDD, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (the latter being an optional module, incidentally).

The ‘updated’ Epson Na01 Endeavor netbook has just been released in Japan for around the equivalent of $480 which sees it coming in cheaper than the previous iteration of the Na01 which carried a price tag of around $518 (at the current exchange rate).
