Samsung ES10 Compact Camera with Beauty Shot Retouching Feature

We’ve already featured compact cameras that will help you shed excess pounds with onboard slimming features – namely the HP R937 – and now, for those with less than perfect skin (which, let’s face it, is the majority of us) along comes the 8.1 megapixel Samsung ES10 compact camera featuring Samsung’s Beauty Shot which is billed as ‘like having your own make-up artist-right in your camera’.

Aside from the intriguing Beauty Shot feature, which acts to identify imperfections such as blemishes and dark spots on your subject’s face and subsequently acts to retouch them in-camera so ‘faces appear brighter and smooth’, the3x optical zoom Samsung ES10 compact camera comes with 2.52 LCD with Intelligent Brightness, 3 point face recognition, in-camera red-eye fix, auto sensitivity up to ISO1600, Digital image Stabilization and, as you’d expect from a compact point and shoot camera, a host of scene modes designed to make using the Samsung ES10 as simplistic as pressing a button. It will also capture video at either 15 or 30fps at 640 x 480 (VGA) resolution.

The Samsung ES10 is set to be made available in Japan in silver, black, white and pink though, at the time of writing, not exact shipping date or pricing information has been provided.
