The NEC LCD2690WUXi2 is a 26-inch wide screen computer monitor from NEC that retails for 750 pounds in the U.K. The monitor comes with a 4-year parts and labor warranty. It complies with the Web Offset Publications (SWOP) software ensuring accurate soft-proof images. In achieving the SWOP certification the monitor has passed the stringent “GRACoL Grade 1″ test.

The monitor is being targetted at professionals such as graphic designers, desktop publishers, etc. The LCD2690WUXi2 offers a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 320 cd/m² brightness, and is able to cover an impressive 97.8 percent of the AdobeRGB color gamut. ColorCompT technology used in the monitor enables it to adjust the luminance and color uniformity so that the evenness of the color across the screen is maintained.

The monitor does not offer either USB or HDMI inputs but two DVI ports mean that you can plug the NEC LCD2690WUXi into three inputs simultaneously.
