The Cowon D2 digital media player is a small and versatile piece that can function as an MP3 Player, photo viewer, movie player, video recorder, audio recorder, and FM radio. The D2 sports a 24-bit 2.5-inch screen that is touch-sensitive. A TV output lets you view media stored on the D2 on the big screen.

You can navigate the menu with a stylus. It has an interesting direct searching feature that lets you jump to a position in the music or video being played simply by clicking the desired spot on the progress bar. The D2 supports MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE and WAV file formats. For a gadget that measures just 3.1 x 0.7 x 2.2 inches and weighs a mere 3.2 oz, the D2 is jampacked with features. It offers customizable EQ, bass boost, and stereo effects.

A single 2.5 hour recharge gives 52 hours of audio time and 10 hours of video time. Line-in recording capability enables the recording of sound from various playback devices such as CDP, MD, TV, etc. The D2 offers 4Gb of internal memory and support for flash memory via the built-in SD card slot.
